A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words
Interpreting histological and cytological samples is not just a case of looking under the microscope and seeing an obvious answer to what is this lesion or mass?. Sometimes that does happen, but more often the findings need to be put into context of size, location, chronicity etc to come to a diagnosis. We are happy to get an epistle regarding the sample but when you are busy, that is a chore that you may not wish to embark on. Take photos instead! It saves you from RSI and can give so much more detail than words.
